Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress, born and was raised at home in Orange County. At the age of 5 she emigrated from Morocco to California. She graduated at the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015, which was the year in which she received her big break in acting. Pernas had small roles in NCIS as well as Leverage. After that, she was offered the part of Marisa in The Young and the Restless. The actress, who quit the soap in 2016 was cast in the role of Catalina who is a regular character in Jane the Virgin. The model, who is proficient in four different languages, has since appeared on The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also played in the Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Then, in Blood & Treasure, from to 2020, she played Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly announced in May 20th that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley who was her costar on The Young and the Restless. This relationship began in May of 2020, after Pernas divorced from her spouse Chrishell Stause. Pernas Hartley got married in secret with Pernas in May 2021.
