Dua lipa is a English artist and performer born August 22, 1995, from London United Kingdom. Dua Lipa signed to Warner Bros Records after a several years of hard work. She released a self-titled first album in 2017. It peaked in at the third spot in the U.K. albums chart and included eight songs, which included the U.K. top-ten track New Rules and Be the One I.D.G.A.F. Lipa's album, which is now been recognized as Platinum in several countries around the world has won two Brit Awards (in the year of 2018) in the categories of British Female Solo Artist, and British Breakthrough Artist. Dua Lipa, born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London she was born on 22 August 1995. Dua Lipa has Bosnian descent through her maternal grandmother. Her ancestors also come from the Kosovo town Peja. Her grandparents were both historians and professors. Her brother is Gjin Lipa as well as a sister Rina. Lipa was musically influenced by her father the lead singer and guitarist of the Kosovan rock group Oda. Her father at home continued to perform music, including original compositions as well as songs from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa began singing when she was just five years old. She began singing during her school, the Sylvia Young Theater School when she was just nine years old.
